Aim

The aim of this E Learning programme is to tell you about some of the problems and dangers of the internet. Then it will show you how best to reduce the risks involved.

Life is increasingly online. Living and working without the internet is almost unthinkable. From the simplest email to the most complex scientific investigation we use it.

Units

This e learning programme consists of five units. They are:

• Unit 1 Scope and risk of using the Internet
• Unit 2 How to stay safe on the web
• Unit 3 Social media
• Unit 4 Facebook settings
• Unit 5 How to recognise and respond to changes in behaviour indicating unsafe online behaviour.
